Who doesn’t know sambal, the beloved chili condiment from Indonesia and Malaysia? The base of this often spicy sauce consists of a mixture of different chili peppers, with secondary ingredients such as shrimp paste, garlic, ginger, shallot, scallion, palm sugar, and lime juice.


Since you can never have too many sambal flavors, we put our taste buds to the test, and now offer our clients a unique range of exclusive sambals, all proud members of the @sambal family!


We are delighted to have this exciting new variety now in our assortment, ranging from the well-known Sambal Oelek (available in two flavors) to the lesser famous, but equally delicious Sambal Meatball, Mayo, and Ketchup. The Manis version is a bit sweeter than the rest, and member Badjak ads a taste of candlenut to the mix.

And we have our ‘home’ flavors too: Sambal Sriracha, made with red jalapeno and chili peppers for some extra zing, and Garlic with just that little bit extra garlic. Sambal Japan deserves a special intro: a uniquely exotic variation, made with the Yuzu citrus fruit from Japan.
